CSI and other shows

Can someone PLEASE explain something to me? Why the hell is CSI:Miami so popular? CSI and CSI:NY both have excellent casts (with the exceptions of Kathrine and Stella) but the strong points of the shows are the male leads Gil Grissom (William Peterson) and Mac Taylor (Gary Sines). The male lead for CSI:Miami, Horatio Caine (David Carusso), is TOO macho bordering on 2 dimensional.....aaaah who am I kidding? This guy could teach Bill Shatner a thing or three about over acting. The supporting cast for the show never caught on with me while I have become vested in the characters from the other two......the fact that Sara and Lindsey are my bi-wives is beside the point :) I don't know. CSI:Miami is just a mystery to me.

Awww.. Horatio Cain-not-act isn't THAT bad!!! Hehehe... hate him actually. I can't stomach CSI:Miami... and it has nothing to do with the cases... CSI: Original Flavor will always be my favorite but CSI:NY DOES have my Carmine on it! hehehhe
